The patient has the right to be treated with care and attention, with respect for human dignity and for his\/her own philosophical and religious convictions.
In particular, during hospital stay he\/she is entitled to be always identified with his\/her first and last name.
The patient has the right to obtain information on the services provided by the healthcare facility, the methods of access and the related skills.
He\/she has the right to obtain complete and comprehensible information from the health care professional who treats him\/her regarding the diagnosis of the disease, the proposed therapy and the relative prognosis. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Except in cases of urgency where the delay is likely to endanger health, the patient shall have the right to receive information enabling him or her to give informed consent before undergoing treatment or intervention: this information must also cover the possible risks and inconveniences of processing.
If the healthcare professional reaches the motivated conviction of the inopportunity of direct information or in case of necessity deemed deferable by the doctor in the presence of a state of impossibility on the part of the patient to provide adequately informed consent, the same must be provided, unless expressly refused by the patient to the family members entitled to do so.
